Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what this agreement covers

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Pixel Rainbow Inc., doing business as iastral, with a business address at 700 North Fairfax Str. STE 614, Alexandria, Virginia 22314, USA ("iastral", "we", "us", "our").

They govern your access to and use of iastral.ai, any related subdomain, mobile site, application, and our messaging channels on WhatsApp and Telegram (together, the "Service").

By using the Service you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy, each of which forms part of this agreement.

We may change these Terms. If a change is material we will post the new version with a new effective date and notify registered users by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

2. What the Service is, and what it is not

iastral calculates astronomical and calendrical data from a date, time and place of birth, and presents that data through the frameworks of Western astrology, Jyotish, Bazi and the Tzolkin calendar, together with interpretive text.

The Service is entertainment content.

• It is not advice — not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind.
• It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
• It does not predict future events, and no result, outcome or event is promised, forecast or guaranteed.
• It is not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you have a health, legal or financial question, consult a licensed professional.

You are solely responsible for any decision you make. Do not use the Service to make decisions about your health, your finances, your legal position, your safety, or the wellbeing of another person.

2.1 Questions we will not answer

The Service, including any automated chat or messaging feature, will decline to respond to questions concerning illness, diagnosis, medication, pregnancy, fertility, death, mental health crisis, self-harm, criminal matters, litigation, or specific financial and investment decisions. This is a deliberate limitation, not a malfunction. Where appropriate we will point you to professional resources instead.

3. How the results are produced, and the role of AI

We want you to know exactly how the Service works.

• Astronomical and calendrical calculations are deterministic. They are produced by ephemeris software from the birth data you enter. They are not generated, guessed or invented by a language model.
• Interpretive text is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence, working from a fixed editorial glossary written by us. It is assembled automatically and is not reviewed by a human before it reaches you.
• The presenter you may see in our videos and images is an AI-generated character. She is not a real person, not a practising astrologer, and does not represent any real individual. We state this openly and we do not present her as human.

Calculations depend entirely on the accuracy of the birth data you provide. A wrong birth time, a wrong city or a wrong time zone will produce a wrong result through no defect in the calculation.

4. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or make a purchase. This is a requirement of legal capacity to enter into this agreement, not a statement that our content is unsuitable for younger people.

If you are entering data about a child — for example when ordering a chart for your own child — you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you consent, on their behalf, to the processing described in our Privacy Policy. That consent is collected separately and explicitly at the point of purchase.

5. Data about other people

Some features, in particular compatibility readings, require the birth data of another person.

By entering another person's data you confirm that you either have their permission to do so, or that you are their parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for that confirmation. We do not verify it, and we do not contact the other person.

You must not use the Service to build a profile of, investigate, or make decisions about another person without their knowledge, and you must not use it in connection with employment, credit, insurance, tenancy or any other consequential decision affecting anyone.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@iastral.ai as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases, prices and subscriptions

• Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency displayed at checkout, and include any taxes we are required to collect.
• Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• One-time purchases give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the report for your own private purposes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account, in one click. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We email you three days before each renewal with the date, the amount and a cancellation link.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which is part of this agreement. In short: seven days, any reason, self-service, no questions.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, our software, our editorial glossary, our interpretive texts, our designs, our brand and the character used as our presenter belong to us or are licensed to us.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the reports you have purchased, for your own private, non-commercial purposes.

You may not resell, republish, redistribute, syndicate, or make available to the public any report, text or output of the Service; use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine learning model; or scrape, crawl or systematically extract our content.

Astronomical positions themselves are facts and we claim no rights in them. What we claim rights in is our software, our text and our presentation.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misrepresent your identity or impersonate anyone;
• access the Service by automated means, or circumvent rate limits, paywalls or security features;
• interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service;
• upload malicious code;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a jurisdiction where it would be unlawful;
• present output of the Service to third parties as professional advice, or as a prediction of events.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, and we may do so without notice where the breach involves fraud, payment abuse or harm to other users.

10. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We make no representation that any interpretation, framework or tradition presented in the Service is accurate, valid, scientifically supported, or capable of describing or predicting anything about you or anyone else. These are traditional interpretive systems presented as entertainment.

We do warrant that the astronomical calculations are performed correctly from the data you supply. If they are not, section 5 of the Refund Policy applies.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not permit these limitations. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your entry of another person's data without the right to do so.

14. Term and termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop at any time by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law, disputes and your rights as a consumer

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. Where the consumer law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, those rights apply in full and prevail over anything in this agreement.

Informal resolution first. Before commencing any formal proceeding, please write to legal@iastral.ai. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days. Most disputes about money are resolved faster by the Refund Policy than by any process described here.

Arbitration, where permitted. Where lawful and where you are not a consumer protected by rules to the contrary, unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Alexandria, Virginia under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis.

Consumers. If you are a consumer, arbitration is optional for you and applies only if you agree to it after the dispute has arisen. You keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your own domicile. In particular, and without limiting the above, consumers domiciled in Brazil may bring proceedings in their own domicile, and nothing in this section limits any right under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

16. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@iastral.ai including: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work; identification of the material and where it is located; your contact details; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
